51 Bestselling Audio Books Summer 2016

Summer is a time for vacations and road trips.  Road trips can be so much fun and adventurous, but also long periods of sitting in a car wishing you could find a good radio station.

Summer is also a time to catch up on your reading wish list.

I used to think that listening to an audiobook was cheating, but when you become a parent, all of your rules and preconceived notions go right out the window.

Now that I am a parent, I find it really hard to find time to read and I really miss it.

Recently, I went on a road trip to Arizona to visit family. I decided to go to a used bookstore in Tucson called Bookman’s.  Bookman’s is one of my favorite bookstores ever, and I decided while I was there to look for an audiobook for the ride home.  The number of books on cd to choose from was a little overwhelming.  I ended up choosing a book called The Snowman that turns out is not what I would have picked if I had done a little research before.

Being stuck in a car with bad radio reception and a super scary and vulgar thriller (okay…I’m a scaredy-cat), is what led to me compiling the following list.
